Q) What is a COMPANIONSHIP MASTERPIECE?
A) A COMPANIONSHIP MASTERPIECE is an artful expressionistic representation of a deceased loved one produced by incorporating their cremated remains in the artwork. It can be the ashes of a spouse, family member, as well as the family pet. Q) Is this a portrait or an abstract interpretation? A) CMs represent the transition of your companion from their existence here in the physical world to the spiritual realm. CMs convey the feeling of their “crossing over” to this new existence. It is not a portrait but an abstract interpretation of their transition. Q) What is the production time on one piece of art? A) CMs are created by using a 3 step method adding layer upon layer of material before the actual painting takes place. Then a custom frame of high quality is added to complete the presentation. Works created using acrylic paint usually take about 4 - 6 weeks. Works created using oils take an average of 6 - 8 weeks depending on how long they take to dry before framing can be completed. Q) What choices do I have in colors and design? A) We offer a choice of cool colors, (blue, green, purple, etc.) or warm colors, (red, orange, yellow, etc.) for the painting. We also offer a choice in framing: Silver, Gold, Wood ( a mahogany or cherry finish) and White. All works come in a contemporary "floater frame” and are professionally framed. Design choices include the “Spiritual Starburst” and “Clouds of Light”. We also offer a choice of sizes: 6”x 6”, 8”x 8”, and 10”x 10”. All canvases have a depth of 1.5”. Both designs will use colors of yellow, gold, and white to illustrate the “light” associated with your companions “transition”. back |
